Decorating Easter Eggs
We decorated Easter eggs today, with Aunt Stephanie and Aunt Della. Both L and M had tons of fun!
L deviated just a bit from last year's style. This first picture is from last Easter. As I am sure you guessed, hers are on the right.
This is from this year, with L's eggs on the left.
And here is M with her eggs. For the most part, she picked out the colors she wanted to use. M's favorite part was stirring the eggs while they were in the dye. It was a little bit nerve-wracking for me, trying to contain the splashing dye to just the table and NOT the carpeted floor. (Whoever decided that the dining room should be carpeted anyway??!) But a girl is only one once, and she enjoyed every minute of it. Oh, and notice the cracked eggs in the picture above? Those are M's. Every time she put an egg in the mug of dye, we would hear another crack. And then another crack as she dropped it on the floor...Oh, well. And maybe I should mention that by some great miracle, we didnt get any dye on the carpet. Yay!!
